Article-45 under Directive Principles of State Policy provides for directive of early chilhood care and education to children below the age of six years. Based on this directive Union Government has passed Right to Education Act 2010 which provides for free and compulsory education to children between the age of 6 to 14 years. Article-21(A) under Part-III also provides for fundamental right to education till the age of 14 years.
