Gram Sabha(Village Council) which is village assembly consisting of all registered voters, Gram Panchayat(Village Panchayat) which is an institution of local self government at village level and Nyaya Panchayat(Judicial Panchayat) which is a system of dispute resolution at village level in India are part of Panchayati Raj Institution. Gram(Village) co-operative society is not a Panchayati Raj Institution.
