(A)The volume of lateral reinforcement provided in reinforced piles should not be less than 0.2% of the gross volume of the pile
(B)The centre to centre spacing of lateral reinforcement in reinforced piles should not exceed half the width of the pile
(C)When the pile has to penetrate hard stratum, the lateral reinforcement at the top of the pie for a distance of three times the width, should be in the form of helix
